The inspiration for this comic came from reading about a ‘coping saw’ and I thought about ‘hardly coping saw’. I went through a few different books worth of tools to try to find things that might match that vibe. The inspiration for this was the Gmail feature that warns you when you mention in text that you’ve attached a file, but none is attached. I thought the opposite with respect to Zen Buddhism might be worth a chuckle.
